Petz Back Home is a small professional pet relocation company specialising in transporting dogs, cats and other small pets between France, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The company is fully experienced in all the requirements of the Defra pet passport scheme and has been issued with a United Kingdom Animal Transporter Authorisation which allows us to transport pets by road and sea  (including journeys over 8 hours).

We have specially adapted and ventilated vehicles which allow us to carry pets during the hottest summer and in the coldest winter without causing the pets any discomfort and keeping them safe at all times.

During the journeys dogs are walked regularly and have water with them at all times. Cats are kept in their large cages throughout the whole journey with water and a clean litter tray with them at all times.

There is also enough room in the cage to keep their favourite bed and toy in with them as well. Feeding the pets is as per the customers instructions.

The company uses two main routes to get to and from the United Kingdom

1. Brittany Ferries Plymouth/Portsmouth to Santander/Bilbao service (through Spain)
2. Various cross channel ferry routes (through France)
3. If required we will use the Eurotunnel but it usually means extra mileage, journey time and more cost to the customer.

Pet owners can travel with their pets free of charge in a petmobile  (subject to availability) but they will have to pay the company the ferry crossing costs and any overnight hotel costs. If pet owners are travelling with their pets we will stop overnight in pet friendly hotels.

The company also offers a special one to one fully accompanied service in one of our fully air conditioned estate cars. The owner and their pet can travel in style and comfort. This is a speedier service and would only suit small and medium sized dogs and cats.
